Background: The position of Earth in the Solar System is essential in its ability to support life. Unfortunately, in the last 200 years, humans have begun to have a large negative impact on many aspects of the environment. Many people do not realise how serious this situation could become!


Task: Your job will be to create a group blog that increases awareness of these issues and explains changes that we must make to solve the problem. Each group will begin using a GoogleDrive document and then we will upload it to a public blog. The main sections and criteria evaluated will be:

1. The "Goldilocks" planet - Why can we survive on Earth?  (Criterion C and E)
  • Describe the structure of The Solar System.
  • Lab session - "Distances from The Sun".
  • Composition of the atmosphere and the greenhouse affect.
2. Global warming and water pollution- Why is it a problem and how can we solve it? (Criterion D and E)
  • CHOOSE ONLY 1 PROBLEM
  • Explain what it is.
  • Explain the problems that it is causing.
  • Explain how we can solve it.
3. References - Using the APA format.
